Hypnobirth®•Homebirth•Freebirth
Doula Services
It would be an honor to support you and your partner during this most precious and vulnerable time. I take care of the behind the scenes practical and emotional work so that you are free to let go and dive in to the physiological birth process.

The Perfect Environment
Have you ever seen those peaceful birth videos where a woman is surrounded by a focused partner, peaceful affirmations, twinkling candles, a dimly lit room, and a warm birth tub? It might seem almost too good to be true, but it is entirely possible for you! That's where I come in: setting up and filling the tub, setting the lighting up, making sure there are clean dry towels readily available, filled water bottles, cool washcloths, protein filled snacks, a protected floor for any fluids, playlists on and loud enough, and a hand to hold when your partner needs to stretch their legs for a moment.
I create the environment you desire, all while you focus on where your birth calls you. Once you forget the little details and turn inward to greet your baby, surrender happens.
Peace & Focus
We get to know each other over the weeks with our prenatal visits, going over worries or "what-if's," creating a plan to provide magic. This is often filled with journaling, meditations, checklists, partner's questions, resources, and a few laughs and cries! I highly recommend taking my HypnoBirthing® course as it prepares both the mind and body with extensive childbirth education and specific meditations only found within the Mongan Method course (see my HypnoBirth tab for more info).

Hypnobirth®•Homebirth•Freebirth Doula
Investment
For my Doula services including prenatal sessions, on-call birth support, and postpartum sessions (including meals/snacks), I ask for an investment of $3,500. This includes clean-up of the birth space, too!
If you would like to add private or group HypnoBirth® childbirth education, I simply tack on an additional $500. Please see my HypnoBirth section for more info on that!
If you are interested in having my support but are not sure if you want to call me to attend the birth, please know I will refund a small portion of the fees if it is discussed and decided towards the end of your pregnancy that you would prefer no birth doula support. Some women in the Freebirth space decide they want to only have their partner present, and I completely respect and cherish that!
Payment Plans are available, but please note that the entire sum will be due at 36 weeks.

What I Do Not Provide
–any medical advice, tests, diagnoses, or medical acts. I am not a medical provider. (Examples of medical acts include cervical checks, stitches, monitoring heart tones or blood pressure, administering prescribed medications, baby positioning, diagnosing, delivering or catching baby, etc.)
–I am not certified as an herbalist, aromatherapist, acupuncturist, naturopath, pelvic floor specialist, OB, midwife, etc. I am a trained Hypnobirth Educator, DONA trained and FBS Radical Birth Keeper trained Doula. This is just to make it very clear that I should not be looked to as any sort of authority in birth!
–I am not to be held liable for your birth, no matter the outcome.
What I Do Provide
What does “serving” look like? It can look like many things, but here are some examples:
-creating a bond prior to birth with the birthing woman (and family if applicable)
-helping create a peaceful birth ambiance with low-lighting and cozy “caves” of blankets and pillows
-helping fill a birth tub (and keep it clean and filled with the requested temperature)
-offer light touch or shoulder/hand massage
-clean-up birthing space
-offer verbal affirmations and support
-make sure mom and partner are eating/drinking throughout labor and after birth
-take photos/videos if asked/when appropriate (non-professional)
-teach and use techniques to help move through and with sensations such as rebozo, hip squeezes, comb-squeeze, ragdoll, meditations, etc
-reinforce a woman’s explicit boundaries when asked (such as not allowing a nosy mother-in-law to enter without the woman's explicit invitation)
-continuing to serve the woman (and family) after with a nourishing meal, offer breastfeeding encouragement (if the woman so desires), healing herbs, etc.
