About Mama Freebirth

Alexa Rose

Physiological Birth Consultant

I have always been interested in the natural birthing process and babies. I became a doula in 2017 and it was quickly confirmed that the medicalized maternal world was full of flaws, there to diagnose women and tell them everything that could go wrong, convince them it would happen, subject them to unnatural and violent situations, then send them home saying "you're welcome." On top of that, doula training was minuscule, and supportive of the abusive system I was so appalled by.

Fast forward to now.

I don't simply want women to learn there are choices in birth. I don't just want them to learn they are allowed to say NO. I don't want to support a woman as she labors in a loud, unfamiliar, sterile environment full of people trained in major abdominal surgery instead of physiological birth, and eager to do it. I want MORE for women. I want MORE for birth!

I want women to birth easily and ecstatically and be so full of joy, their first words are "let's do that again!"

That's why I'm here. To help women achieve their dreams of a peaceful labor and harmonious birth. By booking a Joyous Birth Coaching™ call, you are taking the first step towards realizing your power, trusting your intuition, and believing in your body and your baby.

 What are you waiting for?

Family Life

I live in Fort Collins, CO with my husband Ryan and two toddlers, Fox & Finn. I am devoted to helping women rediscover and trust their bodies outside of the mainstream media and medical system, especially during pregnancy and birth. I am also passionate about creating intentional community, which looks a lot like gathering in women's circle, hosting local Babies & Brews events, hiking together, and more. My husband farms and we host weekly farmers markets on the property, Well Fed Farmstead, which is another way we love to give back to our neighbors.

I'd love to meet you and welcome you to the Mama Freebirth community. Please reach out!
